An email from a Picnic Trend customer

Dear Picnic Trend,

A few weeks ago, my co-worker arrived at work with a brand new lunch tote that looks far more modern and streamlined than my well-loved L.L. Bean lunch cooler. When I asked her where she got it, she told me that it had been a Christmas gift from her mother, who bought it for her on www.picnictrend.com. Naturally, I immediately logged on to the website, and found a similar item, but had trouble finding the exact lunch bag that she had. The lunch tote she has is made of a black, white, and red patterned neoprene, with large circular plastic handles. When she showed me the bag, it was big enough to hold her lunch sandwich, a few assorted snacks, and even her Sigg water bottle.

Can you help me locate this item? She was kind enough to let me take a photo of her lunch tote in action, which I’m attaching to this email.

While I was browsing the site, I noticed the Avalanche Wheeled Picnic Cooler, which I immediately bought to use on Valentine’s Day even though I hadn’t yet found the lunch tote that I was originally searching for!

The Avalanche Wheeled Picnic Cooler was perfect for what I had in mind – especially because my boyfriend and I had to celebrate Valentine’s Day in the beginning of February, when it was 80 degrees here in Southern California. I had made Mississippi Mud cupcakes with meringue frosting, and the Avalanche kept the sweets (and the milk that I brought along to accompany them, of course) nice and cool despite the fact that we went on a long, two-hour walk with the cooler to get to our “secret spot” in Malibu! I found that the dessert meal fit almost perfectly in the Avalanche, and even though our mini-hike jostled the cupcakes a little, they were delicious even with the slightly mashed frosting.

So thanks, Picnic Trend, for helping me surprise my boyfriend with a great Valentine’s Day! And if you have a chance to research that neoprene lunch tote, I’d appreciate the info.

Thanks again,

A Satisfied Picnic Trend Customer.

Dear Satisfied Picnic Trend Customer,

We here at Picnic Trend love hearing how our products have been put to good use. We’ve never thought about hiking with the Avalanche stuffed full of cupcakes, but it sounds like a great Valentine’s Day idea!

The lunch tote you are referring to is our Milano Prints Lunch Tote from Picnic Time’s Metro Collection. The Milano Lunch Tote is available in solid colors as well as patterns for $20.99. The pattern your co-worker has is called “Abacus Black” and it also comes in City Lime, Blue Marbles, and Pink Geo. These are great little totes that can be used for almost anything, not just lunch!

If you like the Milano Lunch Tote, we also carry two other very similar items – the Barbera Tote from the Metro Collection safely holds and carries one bottle of one, while the Brunello Tote holds two. Both of the Wine Totes come with a complimentary waiter-style stainless steel corkscrew.

Thanks for writing in!

Keep the stories coming,

Picnic Trend Customer Service
